We asked Agi four questions to help us understand a little more about her song titled Green Velvet.
1: Choose 3 words that best describe you as an artist?
Melodic
Honest
Fun
2. What was the story or inspiration for writing this record?
I do consider myself quite a closed off person especially when it comes to relationships but this song was created with an idea that a person can make you question all your doubts by their actions and how they make you feel. I think a lot of people have had that “oh fuck” moment when you realise you might be falling for someone and this song is a capture of that moment. Sometimes someone you've just met can make you feel at home
3: Shout out section - who’s your favourite independent artist we should listen out for?
I loooove EVER, especially her song “Sleep On Me”. It’s very stunning
4. Our sister organization @hyper_tribe is all about creating the next generation of artists, what piece of advice would you give to them that helped you the most in your music career?
Be yourself, I know this is such an overdone advise however I was once told that if I’m ever in a room where I have to justify and fight for who I am, I am in the wrong room. You will find your people, people who support and believe in you. All you have to do is be yourself.
