We asked Eli three questions to help us understand a little more about her song Revelation.
1: Choose 3 words that best describe you as an artist?
Eclectic, Experimental, Audacious
2. What was your inspiration for writing this record?
I wanted to write a song that defined my femininity and portrayed my strength and evolution as a woman. The lyrics champion female independence and sovereign feminine energy. All women are superheroes and this song is an ode to that.
3: Shout out section - who’s your favourite independent artist we should listen out for?
Nayana IZ she’s such a talented rapper and vocalist. Her sound is so unique and authentic she’s really pushing the boundaries in what she does.
4: What’s your other favourite record on this week's Fresh Dose. Top 20?
